What is Conor McGregor Up To? The Irishman Spotted in a Nightclub Five Weeks Before UFC 303

On June 30, Conor McGregor is set to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303. This highly anticipated fight marks the return of ‘Notorious’ to the octagon after a three-year absence. However, the Irishman doesn’t seem to be taking it very seriously…

It’s hard to keep track of him. With five weeks to go before his fight against Michael Chandler (23-8) in the main event of UFC 303, numerous videos have surfaced on social media. In these videos, McGregor can be seen in a nightclub, visibly intoxicated, with his wife Dee Devlin. Just a few days ago, ‘Notorious’ proudly announced that he had been sober for several weeks and was ready for his return to the cage… these videos seem to suggest otherwise.

While Michael Chandler is training body and soul for their fight, Conor McGregor (23-6) does not give the same impression. During a live session on Twitch last week, the Irishman already irritated his fans by drinking Guinness and criticizing current UFC fighters, including Ilia Topuria and Kamaru Usman. Dana White’s favorite no longer appears to be sober and raises concerns about his physical condition before the fight, especially regarding his fighting weight. Indeed, although he has moved up a division and the fight against Michael Chandler is at welterweight (-77kg), ‘Notorious’ will still have to make weight to compete. One thing is certain, if McGregor underestimates Michael Chandler, he will regret it bitterly.

Has Conor McGregor relapsed, or is this just a bluff, similar to Ryan Garcia before his fight against Devin Haney? Find out on June 30 at UFC 303!
